This week, we’re featuring some incredible poems from members of our community who participated over the last few days for our daily prompts for NAPOWRIMO (National Poetry Month). It's been amazing to watch how each prompt sparked such raw, creative, and heartfelt work.
April 1 Prompt: Write a poem about beginnings—fresh starts, first moments, or new awakenings.
April 2: Write a poem describing a moment of intense emotion in just five lines.
April 3: Write a love poem without using the word "love."
April 4: Use the phrase "I remember when…" as the first line of your poem.
April 5: Capture the feeling of nostalgia in a poem about an object from your past.
Stay tuned for next week
We’ll be featuring more incredible writers all month for NAPOWRIMO. While we couldn’t share every poem submitted, we’re deeply grateful for each one. There’s more to come, so keep writing and keep sharing—we’re just getting started.
