It’s Week 3 of NAPOWRIMO, and the poetry just keeps getting better. Each day, I’ve been blown away by the honesty, imagination, and heart in the pieces shared by our 3AM Writers Club community.
This week’s Sunday Shoutout features another beautiful collection of poems written in response to our daily prompts.
Whether you're deep in the NAPOWRIMO flow or just jumping in now, I hope these words inspire you to keep showing up to the page—messy, brilliant, and exactly as you are.
April 14: Write a poem in the form of a letter to your past or future self.
April 15: Write a poem from the perspective of an animal.
April 16: Describe a childhood memory as if it were a fairy tale
April 17: Rewrite a famous poem from a different perspective.
April 18: Write a dreamlike, surreal poem inspired by a recent dream.
April 19: Create a poem that starts happily but ends on a melancholic note.
Stay tuned for next week
We’ll be featuring more incredible writers all month for NAPOWRIMO. There’s more to come, so keep writing and keep sharing—we’re just getting started. ✍️
